Before the final episode of Downton Abbey’s last season broadcasts at 9 p.m. on WJCT Public Television, the Lightner Museum and WJCT will host an early screening of the Downton Abbey series finale on March 6 at the Lightner Museum. The event begins at 5 p.m. with a reception and the opportunity to view the museum’s exhibits after hours. At 6:30 p.m. the Museum will screen the final episode of the series in the historic Alcazar Hotel pool, now the location of Café Alcazar. The Museum will make a special exhibit announcement at the end of the night.
Tickets are $40 and must be purchased online or by contacting the Lightner Museum via e-mail or telephone. Light refreshments will be provided and costumes are highly recommended.
