Come to Lightner Museum in high style to celebrate the opening reception of the Museum’s most anticipated exhibition, Dressing Downton: Changing Fashion for Changing Times™ .
See the exhibition before it opens to the public! Dressing Downton™, a thirteen-week display of 36 authentic Edwardian Era costumes and accessories from PBS’s most popular television drama in history, Downton Abbey, will be elegantly displayed in the Museum’s Grand Ballroom Gallery.
Rub elbows with Jessica Fellowes, author and speaker on everything Downton Abbey®. Jessica Fellowes is in her fifth year of global lectures, accompanying her latest official companion books to the hit television series. Her books, The Wit & Wisdom of Downton Abbey, a collection of her favorite quotes, and Downton Abbey: A Celebration, a review of all six seasons, were on the New York Times’ bestseller lists. As niece of creator and scriptwriter Julian Fellowes, Jessica is well placed to deliver insights into the real-life inspirations behind the show.
