Join us at the Lightner Museum for an evening of Gilded elegance and sophisticated sipping with food historian and James Beard Award-nominated author Ms. Francine Segan, along with guest chef Chase Pritchard and Sommelier Mr. Anthony Porcellini.

The four-course menu has been specially designed from archived Alcazar Hotel and Casino menus dating from the 1890s through the 1920s. Each course will be accompanied by a selected wine to enhance the dining experience.

Francine Segan, one of America’s foremost experts on Italian cuisine, is an engaging public speaker, author and TV personality. A noted food historian and James Beard-nominated author of six books including Dolci: Italy’s Sweets and Pasta Modern.  She is the host on NYC’s popular weekly TV series “Americans who Love Italy” and appears on many other TV programs, including Today Show and Early Show. Francine has been featured on numerous specials for PBS, Food Network and History, Sundance and Discovery channels.

Chase Pritchard grew up in St. Augustine and went to Miami to attend Culinary School at Le Cordon Bleu. He then moved to NYC to work among many notable and talented chefs, including time at Le Cirque, Public & Double Crown and as a sous chef with Union Square Hospitality Group. During his time in NYC, he was also mentored by renowned chefs Michael Romano and Robb Garceau before returning to the helm at Culinary Outfitters here in St. Augustine.

Tony Porcellini, an industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience, Porcellini is credited with reinventing the entire food and beverage operation at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin resort, making it a leader in the industry and a highly regarded consumer dining venue. Porcellini quickly gained regard for his tenacious leadership and groundbreaking food and beverage initiatives. He is noted for developing and attracting new restaurant concepts, including Shula’s Steak House and Todd English’s bluezoo celebrity venues, as well as Fresh Mediterranean Market, Il Mulino New York Trattoria, Garden Grove and the Cabana Bar and Grill.

As an accomplished food and beverage executive, Tony’s experience, vision and insights have transformed the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort and the way we all drink, buy, and experience wine.
