Artisan Hobbies Workshop: The Art of Floral Arrangement
Come learn a new hobby, discover unique craft techniques, and explore art making techniques at the Lightner Museum!
Founded in 1948 as the Lightner Museum of Hobbies, the museum has its origins in the hobby boom that swept America in the early twentieth century. This summer, we’re hosting a series of Artisan Hobbies Workshops highlighting the diverse range of skilled artisans in our region.
Join us and Erica from EP Florals for a hands-on flower workshop where you’ll learn the art of floral arrangement. In this interactive session, you’ll explore techniques for creating centerpieces, and decorative floral designs.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced enthusiast, our instructor will guide you through the process, helping you unleash your creativity and craft beautiful arrangements. All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with your own custom floral creation. Come and enjoy a delightful experience surrounded by the beauty of flowers! Wine and charcuterie will be served.
Tickets are limited and guests must register in advance. Registration is open to Lightner Museum Members beginning July 16. Registration opens to the general public beginning Friday, July 19.
