Lightner Local Exhibition Opening | Crystal Floyd: Kindred Spirits

“The assemblages I create are an extension of my life, inspired by the objects I gather during my explorations of diverse ecosystems and offbeat places.”

Kindred Spirits presents Crystal Floyd’s collections reimagined through a creative process that combines hand-prepared biological specimens, found objects, recycled materials, and preserved plant life. By integrating assemblage and collage with experimental materials, she aims to create unique works of art that capture the essence of nature’s cyclical processes.

Join us on October 30 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, to celebrate our last Lightner Local exhibition of the year. Refreshments will be served. Guests should enter through the Radzinski Garden located at the rear of the Lightner Museum.

Created to showcase the extraordinary talents of artists who live in the Northeast and Central Florida regions, Lightner Local is supported by the Benjamin and Jean Troemel Arts Foundation.
