Our first Lightner Local exhibition of 2024 presents Clear Cut by St. Augustine artist, Joe Segal. Carved from wood and accentuated with metal elements, Segal’s striking wall-hung sculptures reimagine the life cycle of native trees and reflect the larger transformation of the local landscape.
Join us on March 1 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., during St. Augustine’s First Friday Art Walk to celebrate the opening of Clear Cut. Refreshments will be served. Guests should enter through the Radzinski Garden located at the rear of the Lightner Museum.
Created to showcase the extraordinary talents of artists who live in the Northeast and Central Florida regions, Lightner Local is supported by the Benjamin and Jean Troemel Arts Foundation.
