Designing with Nature: Adventure into Stained Glass

Enjoy this fun family workshop that spotlights one of the museum’s signature exhibitions. The Gilded Age: Treasures from the Lightner Museum displays artwork and objects created during an exciting time in American history. The focus of the workshop will be our stained-glass Tiffany lamps, which feature colorful designs inspired by the world of nature.

Participants will join a Lightner Educator in exploring these objects, learning about stained glass, and creating their own tissue paper stained glass designs. This workshop is sure to be illuminating!

Museum Spotlight! Workshops are free with admission. Preregistration is required and the maximum number of children is 10. Participants should arrive five minutes before the workshop starts, and meet the educator in the front lobby. This workshop is for children ages 5 -10 years old. Parents must remain with their children for the duration of the workshop.
