WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP: SEASHELLS WITH ERIN HELLMANN

Experience a creative evening at the Lightner Museum with a watercolor workshop led by artist Erin Hellmann. In this casual, all-levels session, participants will paint seashells while exploring basic watercolor techniques like layering, color blending, and brushwork. With guided instruction and plenty of time to experiment, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to slow down, get creative, and leave with a finished piece that captures the charm of the shore. Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, this workshop offers a relaxing way to explore both nature and creativity. 

$40 per person | $20 Lightner Museum Members

Pre-registration is required. Watercolor supplies will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a sketchbook as well as any specific supplies they would like to use. Light refreshments will be provided.

About the Aritst: Erin Hellmann is a watercolor artist deeply inspired by coastal living, travel, and the vibrant connection between the moon and the sea. Originally from Maryland, she spent seven years along the Delaware beaches before recently relocating to the Jacksonville, Florida area. She earned her degree in Art Education from Towson University and, after several years teaching in classrooms in both Baltimore and Costa Rica, transitioned to full-time artistry in 2020. Erin now creates original paintings, prints, and paper goods, and leads workshops that invite participants to explore watercolor in a relaxed, beginner-friendly setting.
