Adult Group Tours
The Lightner Museum offers discounted admission for adult groups of 10 or more. Both guided and self-guided tours of the galleries are available. Guided tours last about 45 minutes and are offered Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Tours begin once the entire group has arrived. All guided tours must be scheduled at least one month in advance.

Adult Group Tour Rates
- Self-guided Visits and Guided Group Tours (minimum of 10 people): $12 per guest
- Rates are subject to change without notice. Special exhibitions may require an additional fee.
Reservation Information
- Groups must include at least 10 participants; the maximum size is determined on a case-by-case basis.
- Guided tours require at least one month’s advance notice and a $20 deposit (credit card required). The deposit is applied to the total balance.
- Group leaders must submit a completed reservation request form to the Group Tour Department at least one month before the visit. Requests must include two possible arrival dates and times. Reservations are not confirmed until written confirmation is sent by email from the Group Tour Department.
- Self-guided group visits (without a docent) may be scheduled with at least one week’s advance notice.
Group Check-in Process
- Guided tour groups should arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
- Tours will begin promptly. Volunteer Docents will wait no more than 15 minutes past the scheduled start time, unless notified in advance of a delay.
- All participants must arrive together, as the museum cannot accommodate staggered arrivals.
- Self-guided groups should arrive at the time listed in the confirmation email. The group leader should check in at the admissions desk to finalize payment and collect admission stickers, while the rest of the group waits in the lobby.
Deposit/Payment/Cancellation Policies
- A credit card is required to secure your reservation (MasterCard, Visa, and American Express accepted). A $20 deposit will be charged at the time of booking.
- One person must pay for the entire group upon arrival using the credit card on file, a check, or cash. We cannot accept payments from individual group members.
- Cancellations must be made in writing via email to [email protected] at least 48 hours before your scheduled arrival for a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Groups that cancel without notifying the museum will be charged the full tour amount.
- Final group count is due one week prior to the tour. Refunds cannot be given for fewer attendees than the number provided in the final count.
- Groups will be charged the full tour fee if they do not show, cancel within 48 hours, or arrive more than 30 minutes late.
- Groups arriving more than 30 minutes late will forfeit their docent-led tour and instead receive a self-guided experience.
